U Penn alumnus provides new evidence for the treatment of myasthenia gravis





Gil Wolfe, who completed his neuromuscular fellowship here at the University of Pennsylvania in 1994, was the first author on a multicenter, randomized trial demonstrating that thymectomy improved clinical outcomes over a 3-year period in patients with nonthymomatous myasthenia gravis  published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
